☯ Brief History Synopsis: Very little is known about Danny’s past. He is the son of aerospace tycoons Wendell and Heather Rand, both killed by their business partner Harold Meachum. Danny was taken in by the people of K’un Lun and he was trained by the elders in their arts. He defeated the dragon Shao-Lao, after plunging his fist into the heart of the dragon he obtained the Iron Fist placing him in the potential position to be king of K’un Lun. Growing up in the mystical city Danny obtained both a “brother” and a rival in Scorpion, who was also one of K’un Lun’s prospective kings. The year before the competition of who would be king, Danny left K’un Lun in order to gain knowledge and better himself, while Scorpion stayed behind stewing in his bitterness. In his quest to gain knowledge Danny became an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. working alongside other heroes like Spider-Man, White Tiger, Power Man, and Nova.
☯ Brief Personality Synopsis: Danny is the paragon of mellow. He is a meditative and philosophical individual, patient and very difficult to rise to anger and can often be heard quoting very Confucius-esque bits of advice at his fellow team mates at any given time. On his team he often acts as a buffer and the soothing voice of reason, though given his gentle nature his reason, however sound, often goes unheeded. Of all his teammates he is the last to ostracize individuals, preferring to believe that people can always be better…but occasionally he can be influenced to turn the other way especially in the face of arrogance. He did turn his back on Spider-Man due to his arrogance after attaining the Iron-Spider suit from Tony Stark which goes to show that there is a limit to Danny’s patience. He has very little of it for anyone with too much arrogance, especially when he knows that’s not how the individual really is. He also has very little patience for people who speak without thinking as Danny himself is very careful in how he speaks to others and never, intentionally, goes out of his way to insult or make people feel bad. He’s remarkably polite, often following an introduction with “namaste” and a bow. Does that mean he is incapable of insults? Not at all, he’s just very roundabout with it, for example, in reference to Spider-Man he states that a “dull blade can make an excellent hammer.” Danny is also not above mischief, or simply courting mischief, which is the downside to his mellow personality, he often goes with the flow. Even though he can see the negative of a situation he is loyal to his team mates and tends to go along with whatever the majority decides to do. That doesn’t mean Danny cannot make wise decisions and when it comes down to just himself he is very capable, choosing Spider-Man to act as his proxy in the competition against Scorpion after being blinded was one of them. He’s also fair willing to give Scorpion the benefit of the doubt when he attacked Danny in Brooklyn, allowing people the time and space to see the error in their ways and thinking without pushing the issue himself. He is also humble. Even though he is wealthy he doesn’t seem to care about worldly possessions and when he and the rest of the team were living with Peter Parker and his Aunt May, he slept on Peter’s bedroom floor. In fact Peter had no idea that Danny was a Mr. Money-Bags until he made the connection for himself, so it’s not something he flaunts. His greatest fear is being unworthy of the powers bestowed upon him.

• Danny is fabulously wealthy, though he does not live like it, dress like it, or act like it. He is CEO of Rand Corporation and he could probably rival Stark Industries and Oscorp Industries.
• He is a vegetarian.
• He is mildly allergic to cats.
• He likes music, meditating, and incense.
• Underneath his costume he wears sexy underwear. No. Seriously. It’s a monk thing.
• He is very in to the mystical.
• He rarely displays the full extent of his power.
• He is versed in various ancient texts that he studied while in the mystical city of K’un Lun. He can even read Asgardian scripture.
☯ Power:
• Master martial artist.
• Peak physical conditioning rivaling that of Captain America.
• Superior acrobat.
• Chi amplification abilities that enable him to do a number of different things: enhances his stats, focus his chi into his fists, and to some degree it is a magic repellant. When Nightmare puts all of New York into a sleep Danny is able to keep himself and Peter Parker awake with his chi.
• Near control over his nervous system allows him to ignore pain through concentration enabling him to augment his natural skills using his chi.
• Iron Fist with control of his chi Danny enhances the strength in his fist, giving them an iron like consistency capable of dealing extremely heavy blows.
• Weapons knowledge. He briefly handled a sword.
• Mystic training with Doctor Strange.
• Dream walking enables him to walk into the dreams of others, but it takes a great deal of chi to do it.

Backtagging: Forever. It's an rp survival skill, have no fear in wielding it.
Threadhopping: As long as the thread isn't locked and other muns agree. I have no problem with my threads being hopped at any time, especially if there is a relevant component attached, but a courtesy warning to other muns may be required.
Fourthwalling: Not so much. Though some characters may know him from alternate universes and this is fine, odds are Danny will probably know your characters if they are from alternates of his universe--the Marvel Universe. He will know the Avengers, he will know of the X-Men, the Fantastic 4 and various other characters/group affiliations.
Offensive subjects (elaborate): I'm difficult to offend, but if in doubt feel free to ask.

Hugging this character: Sure. Danny is very chill and pretty whimsical about hugging himself. He is in tune to the emotional states of others, so if you feel the urge to hug, go right ahead.
Kissing this character: Awkward is awkward. This might take him by surprise, but he won't be offended, especially if there is a reason, otherwise he'll be all "huh?"
Flirting with this character: Go right ahead, you'll probably break his brain in the process, but it's all in good fun. He won't reciprocate simply because he's bad at flirting and he doesn't have the same witty pickup lines that would be more in tune with Sam or even Peter.
Fighting with this character: Absolutely. He's a superhero, he fights, it comes with the territory with the exception that Danny is a pacifist and will only fight as a last resort. Otherwise he will not pick a fight and he might ignore it if you're simply trying to goad him.
Injuring this character (include limits and severity): Anything short of losing a limb, he's tough rocks, he can handle most injuries pretty well.
Killing this character: I'd rather you didn't unless it's part of the plot and not permanent.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Sure, but just remember that Danny has a grasp on the mystic stuff himself, be prepared for him to boot you out of his head if you get in there and start messing around with stuff you shouldn't be.
Sexual/romantic orientation: For any interested parties who would like to try and hook up with Danny romantically, he is more interested in his enlightened path but with a little time and patience...or persistence, perusing a romantic relationship with Danny is entirely possible. I perceive Danny as a people person, if he loves someone he'll love them for who they are, you can take that as you will. I personally have no shipping preferences m/m, m/f, m/anything in between.
Warnings: I don't really think he comes with a warning, he's relatively harmless unless you confront him as Iron Fist. I guess you could count his ability to kick ass pretty hard as a warning.
